Time for introductions

Since this is a brand new blog, I think it is time for everyone to get involved. I would love to hear from all the non profit participants in the Greater Grand Forks Area. Let us know who you are--if you should choose to do so or just introduce your organization and share some information about what you do and how you do it. Come on---lets see some participation to get things going. I would also love to hear from you, either here or by email on ideas that you would like to discuss.

Who am I? I am a parent, partner, friend, and worker of non-profit Grand Forks. Who I am is not nearly as important as what I and others can accomplish in this community together. The purpose of this blog is to bring people together—although I am well aware that this will be a journey and not always a smooth one. All comments are welcome as long as they are constructive—it would be totally unrealistic to think for one second that all will agree in their comments and to be honest—who needs that? The best conversations come from disagreement—RESPECTABLE disagreement. So—you will not find threats of deleting comments that do not agree with the establishment, however, personal or organizational slams will not be tolerated. If you have something negative to say, keep it in the context of constructive—after all—this blog is about improvement, learning and bringing people together. Tell me what you think.
